This is a MUST HAVE book if
you own any poster from Alexander - The Man Who Knows. Claude Conlin (aka Alexander)
was born on June 30, 1880, and became one of the most successful
mentalists of all time. However, he was more than that. If this story
were submitted to a movie studio, it would be laughed out of Hollywood.
Too far fetched they would say. And they would be right except for
one thing...It's all true. Alexander was was an accomplished charlatan,
extortionist, bootlegger, bigamist and murderer. He was married seven
times, he was arrested numerous times, skipped bail, went to jail,
cleverly escaped, admitted to killing four men, etc. He made millions
during his mindreading career. He performed his full evening show,
and eventually worked in the vaudeville circuit where he made $5,000
a week in 1921! This is a fascinating story. The first 184 pages of
the book are dedicated to his life story. The last part contains
the secrets of his magic as he published them.
